Hope Uzodimma Deepens Internal Democracy, Superintendents Over The Fairest and Freest Party Primaries; Edo State APC 2024 Guber Election Primary.

The beauty and credibility of any political process is in its ability to deepen internal democracy within the party architecture. The Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has yet again shown his commitment and resolve at deepening internal democracy and entrenching the principle of democratic fair play within the political party architecture as he discharged his democratic duties as chairman of the Edo State APC 2024 Guber Election Primary Committee which saw the emergence of Hon. Dennis Idahosa, a member of the Federal House of Representatives as the candidate of the APC in the forthcoming 2024 Guber Election in Edo State. Hon Idahosa polled over 40,000 votes to defeat other contestants and will now fly the party’s flag in the September 2024 Guber Election.
The primary election which has been adjudged by both internal and external observers and party stakeholders as the fairest and freest primary election to be conducted by any party in Edo State was made possible by the leadership and democratic ingenuity of Governor Hope Uzodimma as chairman of the primary election committee. His ability to manage potential crisis situation in the primary election was cited as one trait that stands him out.
Recall that Governor Hope Uzodimma was also Co-Chairman of the 2023 APC Presidential Primary Election that saw the emergence of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Party flag bearer.
This is yet another testament of the fact that Senator Hope Uzodimma is the beacon of Hope for the survival of democracy in Nigeria.
