  The 17th edition of the Headies Awards, held on April 28, 2025, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, celebrated outstanding achievements in Nigerian and African music. The event, themed “Back to Base” and “Apologetically African,” marked the return of the awards to Nigeria after a two-year stint in Atlanta, Georgia.
