Zik's Avenue Primary School 1 going down

The Enugu State Government led by Peoples Democratic Party of Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah demolishing Uwani Primary school located  at Ozoanichebe Street, along Zik's Avenue Enugu  to build the a purported Smart Green school therein.

What an economic waste ?

This school was built by Her Excellency Chief Mrs Miriam Babangida. The school was renovated by the immediate (PDP) government of  Enugu. In less than 3 years, the said school is going down for a purported Smart Green school to come in?

Assuming but without Conceding that the government of Peter Ndubuisi Mbah wants to build a Smart Green school,  why not upgrade the status of the existing structure and use the  same for the said project.
