RIVERS OF CRISIS AND THE STATE OF EMERGENCY

Why don't We see it from this angle?

The impeachment process was initiated again to force the Governor to sign into law the three new laws that centred on removing most powers from the governor, they are aware that the governor may not give his assents to the laws and overruling the governor as the constitution demands when the executive fails to assent to a bill the house will go ahead and pass it into law but the question will be, will the governor abide by the contents of the laws?

Thus the use of the impeachment threats as a bargaining chip and where the governor fails, the will go ahead with the impeachment which will cause serious unrest and the President's hand will be moved to declare a state of emergency which has played out according to their scripts.

On the other part, the governor will now be left with only one option, which is to accept the conditions that are embedded in the three laws or kiss the office good bye.

Then the Assembly members are being taken care of by the Boss, Wike with or without the Rivers money.

The military administrator will be saddled with the negotiation processes and report back to the presidency where Wike is a top member of the kitchen cabinet.

Note, Wike in connivance with Akpabio nominated the Rear admiral for the position and not without specific instructions so the legislative arm are with him already.

Some of the commissioners will not be coming back as the part of the peace plan is to have Wike's men in the state executive Council and at the Local Government Councils.

Fubara and his deputy will be back as lame duck governor and deputy or be forced to resign from their offices to avert impeachment which comes with series of benefits denials.

Head or tail, Wike is winning. People that advised Fubara did the worst political miscalculation because Fubara has lost both the executive powers, power of legitimate state action (coercion) and the fiscal power and has returned back to the table of negotiations from a point of weakness.

Listening to Mr. President's address, he was only leaning towards points of law which we all know that Fubara ñever respected any rather he was banking on executive powers of his office.

Finally, I will say the dynamics of power play is always being smart enough to know the end from the beginning.
