I, the member representing the wonderful people of Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives and the founder and General Overseer (GO) of CampHope Organization Worldwide, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu (Omeogo, Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu) write with immense gratitude to appreciate my leader, my boss, my mentor and my elder brother, the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Most Distinguished Sen. Hope Uzodinma CON, and his esteemed cabinet for their pivotal role in the planning and successful execution of the befitting funeral of our beloved Hon. Lady Jenny Rachael Okonkwo, Iron Lady, who was the Orlu Zonal Women Mobilizer of CampHope Organization Worldwide.
Your Excellency, your leadership and unwavering commitment to honouring the legacies of distinguished individuals remain commendable. The honour accorded to Iron Lady through a well-organised and dignified funeral is a testament to the high regard in which she was held.
I also extend my heartfelt appreciation to leaders and members of CampHope Organization Worldwide for its instrumental role, and for turning out en masse to bid farewell to our dear colleague. The overwhelming presence of CampHope members was not only a mark of respect but also a reflection of the unity and solidarity that defined Iron Lady’s life. Indeed, she would be immensely proud.
Furthermore, I express my deep gratitude to all members of the planning committee and the Executive Chairman of Orlu LGA, Hon. Pastor Chris Mbarie with his Councilors and the leadership and members of APC in Orlu LGA led by Rt. Hon. Prince Stanley Chinedu Nwosu (Ochinanwata) who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this event. My gratitude also goes to the people of Ogberuru/Obibi Ward for hosting our dear visitors from all over IMO State and beyond. Your dedication and sacrifices did not go unnoticed, and I truly appreciate all your efforts.
May the Almighty God bless and reward everyone who contributed in any way to making this farewell a remarkable one.
