EVANGELIST EBUKA OBI COMMENDS GOVERNOR UZODIMMA FOR SECURITY EFFORTS IN IMO*
The Spiritual Director of Zion Church Ministries Worldwide, Evang. Chukwuebuka Obi, has commended Governor Uzodimma for his administration's dedication to ensuring the safety of lives and property of Imo citizens.
He made this known during a courtesy visit to the Government House in Owerri on Monday, where he expressed his gratitude to the Governor for the support given to the ministry during a successful three-day crusade held in the Ngor Okpala area of Imo State.
"I have come to appreciate you, Your Excellency," said Evang. Obi. "The attendees, including international visitors, felt secure and at home throughout the event. I want to reaffirm that Imo is safe and secure."
Evang. Obi highlighted that the crusade saw a turnout of over three million participants, marking it as the largest event of its kind in the region since he began organizing such gatherings in Nigeria. He noted the absence of any security-related incidents, which he attributed to the effective leadership of Governor Uzodimma.
In response, Governor Uzodimma expressed his pleasure over the visit. He emphasized that the presence of Zion Church Worldwide in Imo State brings numerous benefits, including economic development and the potential to transform the state into a tourism hub for the South East and Nigeria.
The Governor further stated, "Imo needs your ministry, and we will ensure that the people of the state support your efforts."
The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Lady Chinyere Ekomaru, alongside other high-ranking officials, were present to receive the Evangelist and his team.
