Sworn in for a second term on 15th, January 2024 for a second term in office, Governor Hope Uzodimma has recorded very remarkable achievements in less than 100 working days in office, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.


These landmark achievements include;


1) Commencement of the Construction of a flyover at Control Post Owerri to link Onitsha Road, Port Harcourt Road and Aba Road reducing the traffic burden on the municipality.


2) Presidential Approval for the transfer of Ownership of Egbema Gas Powered Electricity Plant to Imo State Government.


3) Reconstruction and conversion from single carriage to dual carriage, the 15km Mgbidi-Omuma-Okporo Orlu Road.


4) Attracting a Public Private Partnership for the construction of the first ever 5 star in Imo State- Imo Marriot Hotel with a zero financial cost on the State Government.


5) First Batch Payment of 16- Year Backlog of gratuity to over 3000 Imo Pensioners and Permanent Secretaries.


6) Commencement of the training of over 5,000 Imo Youths in the Cohort 3 Skill Up Imo Project.
