In response to a caveat emptor published by Mr. Gbolahan Elias, SAN, on behalf of Primeview Hotels Limited regarding Hotel Presidential, the Enugu State Government has vehemently dismissed the claim.

The government clarified its stance through a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia.

According to the statement, Primeview Hotels Limited had attempted to unlawfully acquire Hotel Presidential in 2013, leading to the revocation of the transaction by the state government.

Despite legal proceedings, including a lawsuit filed by Primeview Hotels Limited against the government, the courts upheld the government's decision, declaring the Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) between Primeview and E Hospitality Services Limited illegal and unenforceable.

The government urged the public to disregard Primeview's publication, labeling it as baseless and mischievous misinformation.
