The United Isu Progressive Union, which houses the Isu N'Eliligbaraogu Country Club, is a prestigious social club comprised of affluent individuals from various clans which makes up the Isu Ancient Kingdom in Nwangele Local Government Area. This exclusive club has long been a hub for networking and social activities for its esteemed members.

On Monday, April 1st, 2024, the Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, will be commissioning a new lawn tennis court at the country club. This project, which was constructed by the Deputy Speaker himself and his immense contribution towards the construction of the main building, are testaments to his commitment to the development and growth of the club.

The new lawn tennis court will be named in memory of the Deputy Speaker's late father, Chief Chyna Iwuanyanwu, who was a respected member of the club until his passing. This act of immortalizing his father through the naming of the court is a touching gesture that showcases the Deputy Speaker's reverence for his father's legacy within the club.

Currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the club, the Deputy Speaker plays a significant role in the club's operations and development. Chief Engr Celestine Opurum, on the other hand, serves as the Governor of the club, overseeing its day-to-day activities and ensuring its continued success.

Throughout the years, the Isu N'Eliligbaraogu Country Club has made substantial investments in the socio-economic and political development of Nwangele LGA. The commissioning of the new lawn tennis court by the Deputy Speaker is just one example of the club's ongoing efforts to contribute to the progress and prosperity of the local community.
