 TO AN INTREPID NOBLE MAN ON HIS GOLDEN BIRTHDAY

We first met in 2016 at one of  the convocations of Camp Hope Organization World wide at the expansive compound of the General Overseer, Rt. Hon High Chief CANICE MOORE CHUKWUGOZIE NWACHUKWU, MHR, OMEOGO,  Ogbaturuenyi na Orlu, in Okporo, ORLU LGA . It was the heydays of Sheriff-  Makarfi imbroglio. Then Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma,CON , the current Governor of Imo State was on the side of Sheriff as the struggle for the heart of PDP was raging. He spoke very profoundly in that meeting and had a clear vision of where the struggle was heading to. I became acquainted with him and fell in love with  his panache and political sagacity. Subsequently, he showed capacity in Nwagele LGA, held his  forte when Camp Hope  was the lone voice in the political wilderness of imo state; declaring that Senator Hope Uzodinma will be the Governor come 2019, a prophesy that eventually came to pass in January 2020.

We all crossed over to APC following our principal, Senator Hope Uzodinma, CON. As a young man , he fought the lions of Nwagele LGA, wrestled with the giants, endured pain and dissipated the growling opposition, standing firm .And till today, he is still towering above his peers. 

We worked together in different tactical and strategic committees of Camp Hope Organization during the Gubernatorial campaigns of 2019 and he discharged himself as focused, selfless with a rabid commitment to the gubernatorial project of Senator Hope Uzodinma. 

When he was made the Chairman of the Camp Hope Summit in 2023, I worked under him. He also demonstrated an uncanny understanding of the political terrain and proved himself a consummate leader, organizer and manager of men and resources. 

He became the Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo State on SEMB( State Education Management Board) and I witnessed  how he showed himself as one of  the most knowledgeable , committed, workaholic and vibrant SA's.

As a Publisher of Star Post Newspapers, his editorial depth , coverage, class and  the general acceptance of the tabloid in Imo State is another testimony to his  versatility and managerial prowess.

Our friendship has blossomed over time and has known refreshing moments.

I have been a guest to him severally in his aesthetic country home in ISU, Nwangele and, all the time,  he proved himself to be up to date in top notch guests management with a debonaire touch of class and finesse.

He is a Prince of the Royal House of AKANO, ISU kingdom, a complete gentleman, seminal , humane , garbed in loyalty and nobility

On his Golden birthday, I can only see the sky as his starting point. 

HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAREST FRIEND AND BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER, PRINCE EZEALA FERDINAND AKANO.
