In a bid to address the rampant menace of motorists flouting traffic regulations, the Chairman of the Lagos State Task Force, CSP Shola Jejeloye, has put forth a proposition to subject offenders caught driving against traffic, commonly referred to as one-way driving, to mandatory psychiatric evaluation. The agency's resolve to enforce stringent measures against traffic violators was underscored during a recent operation along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, where 497 motorcycles, colloquially known as Okadas, were seized. Gbadeyan Abdulraheem, the spokesperson for the task force, elucidated on the details of the operation, highlighting the proactive leadership of CSP Shola Jejeloye in spearheading the enforcement initiative.
